24-7 Learning, Parent View and Blackboard.com
Your child’s teacher uses FCPS 24-7 Learning*, an Internet-based program, to post announcements and access class information and resources. Each student is given their own FCPS 24-7 Learning account.
Parents also have the opportunity to access FCPS 24-7 Learning. The parent’s access into FCPS 24-7 Learning is through the SIS Parent Account. The Parent account gives parents the opportunity to view the same information online and also provides access to other important features like weCare@schools. weCare@schools is the online system that allows parents to update emergency care information for their children.
Active SIS Parent Accounts may be accessed starting August 28. The same login will be used to access both the SIS Parent and FCPS 24-7 systems on this date.
If you had an active FCPS 24-7 Learning Parent View account last school year, you will be able to continue using this account. Parents new to FCPS will receive a letter in the mail providing a web address, activation key, and directions to register for an SIS Parent account. If you received a letter, but did not act within the allotted 45 days, you must request a new activation code from your child’s school.
FCPS 24-7 Learning Parent View will provide access to view all of your child's available courses, Family Connection to view Academic and Career Planning (for Middle and High school students), and Bus Stop Information. You can also update your child’s Emergency Care Information through weCare@school.
SIS Parent Account will provide access to view your child’s student information, including attendance, report cards, class schedules, grade book (for Middle and High School students), course history, discipline, health, and school information, establishing another form of communication between home and school.
