The instructional program for Fairfax County Public Schools is defined in the Program of Studies (POS) which follows the state Standards of Learning (SOL).  The POS contains the instructional objectives for all subjects at each grade level, as well as the SOL objectives, which are included in the POS.  These documents are available in the school office for parents’ review and can also be found on-line at http://www.fcps.edu/academic.htm which refers to “Academic Programs.”

Our school offers a wide range of instructional services through a full-time librarian, reading, general music, physical education, and art teachers.  Instruction in strings (grades 4-6), chorus (grades 5-6) and band (grades 5-6) are also offered.
