Please assist Island Creek in making sure students do not bring balls or toys, including electronic games and game cards, to school due to the disruption they cause.   The school cannot be responsible for the safety and security of items brought from home.  Parents are asked to make sure they know what their child brings to school.  Be sure to monitor what your child selects for sharing time.  Items for sharing should be of interest and value to the class and in connection with some unit of study.  Animals should not be brought to school without prior permission from the teacher and the school principal (please refer to Animals in School.)
