Student Leadership Programs

We proudly empower young leaders through initiatives like the Principals’ Student Advisory Council, Student Ambassadors, Junior Librarians, and the Student Council Association. These programs cultivate responsibility, collaboration, and a vibrant sense of community among students.

Advanced Academics 

At our school, we are proud to offer Advanced Academics in 3rd Grade and Advanced Math programs in grades 3-6. These programs allow students to challenge themselves through content that fosters critical thinking, collaboration, problem-solving skills, and a love for learning.

Preschool Special Education Classrooms

Community Engagement

Our close-knit community fosters connection through annual events such as the Share the Warmth clothing drive, This Is Us Multicultural Night, Family Friday Breakfast Bash, Zoom-in With Administration, and Monthly Coffee and Conversations, which bring families and staff together year-round.

Purple Star School

As a Purple Star School, we proudly support military families and celebrate community spirit through events like the PTA-sponsored Croc Rock and Run. Our renewed vision and mission underscore our dedication to serving all students and families.

STEAM Lab

Our innovative STEAM Lab inspires creativity and innovation through hands-on exploration of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. Students engage in interactive projects that spark curiosity and develop problem-solving skills.

Running at Island Creek

Each morning, students meet to train for the ultimate goal of running in a 5K race. With guidance and support from our dedicated staff, they build physical wellness, teamwork, and determination. 

Student Recognition

We celebrate character and achievement through our Crocs Creed and Monthly Croc Stars Recognition. These programs honor students who embody our core values and contribute positively to our school community.

After School Programs

Sponsored by the PTA, our after-school programs offer students the chance to explore Hip Hop Dance, Cooking, and Chess, fostering creativity, skill development, and teamwork in a fun and engaging environment.
